Acceptance

Dilafruz Sobirova

Dilafruz has received a FULL-RIDE scholarship to Harvard University. She earned an IELTS score of 8 and a 1540 on the SAT, and plans to major in Integrative Biology. Dilafruz has truly become part of our family. She first joined Ivy Bridge 2 in 9th grade, and just one year later, she became the very first student to join Full Support for the Class of 2030. Over the two years she worked with us, we guided her through summer planning, academic direction, and long-term strategy. Through Ivy Bridge 2 and 4, Dilafruz significantly strengthened her writing and analytical skills. Her final personal essay was developed with close guidance from Bobirjon, Shahnoza, and Sukhrob. Beyond her achievements, Dilafruz has always stood out for her bubbly energy, positivity, and unwavering belief in herself. She truly manifested her Harvard acceptance—and earned it. We couldn’t be prouder.

Borte
Acceptance

Borte

Borte has been accepted to Harvard University with a full-ride scholarship. Her impressive academic achievements include a SAT score of 1530, 7 AP exams and an IELTS score of 8. This fall, she will begin her studies in Mechanical Engineering at Harvard. Borte comes from Astana, Kazakhstan, where she attends National school of physics and math. Beyond her academic pursuits, Borte engaged in the Global Problem Solving Institute, where she worked on a research paper on psoriasis. She also independently worked on research papers on rhetorical analysis across multiple languages and literature, and developed an art portfolio to strengthen her application. Last year, Borte was accepted to the IVY Bridge program in July. During this program, she not only delved deeper into her chosen major but also gained valuable insights into crafting successful applications, slowly building the foundations of her own acceptance. In November, she joined the Full Support program, where she continued building her applications under the guidance of her mentors Bobirjon, Yakhyo, and Shahnoza. The next four months were filled with numerous 1-on-1 sessions, tens of pages of essay drafts, and hundreds of comments on Borte's application file on Google Docs. With her acceptance letter, Borte and Dilafruz stand as the only undergraduate Harvard admits from Central Asia in this admissions cycle. B&S Admissions and its team extend their warmest congratulations to Borte, wishing her success and luck in her future projects and plans. We hope to assist more students from Central Asia in realizing their dreams of studying at Harvard.

Alena Ivanouskaya
Acceptance

Alena Ivanouskaya

Alena was accepted to Yale University through QuestBridge’s National College Match, earning a full-ride scholarship. She plans to major in Biochemistry on a pre-med track. A student of James Madison High School in Brooklyn, Alena challenged herself with a rigorous course load, including AP Chemistry, AP Calculus BC, AP Physics, and several other AP classes. She will be graduating as the Valedictorian, ranked #1 out of a class of over one thousand students. Alena began working with us in June as part of Ivy Bridge 6 and Full Support. She worked closely with Bobirjon Bakhtiyorov, with whom she shared a unique connection—they both attended the same high school in Brooklyn. Reflecting on the journey, Alena described the process as transformative, saying: “You need someone like Bobirjon when things get tough and you start doubting whether you are Ivy League material. Bobirjon was there through all of my essays helping me brainstorm ideas and help me articulate myself more thoroughly” Bobirjon recognized Alena’s potential early on and supported her throughout the application process. At B&S Admissions, we emphasize that every result belongs to the student; our role is simply to provide guidance and an extra push toward what students are capable of achieving. We wish Alena an exciting new chapter at Yale

Khusan Rakhimov
Acceptance

Khusan Rakhimov

Coming from a Public School in Tashkent, Khusan is now headed to Duke University with a full scholarship and will major in Economics and Public Policy. Per his academics, Khusan has SAT 1530 and will be taking 5 AP Exams next month. But what makes him stand out is not his academic stats; he has a passion for studying developmental economics and has done research on income/wealth inequality. He is also passionate about social entrepreneurship and has an EdTech Startup. He was also involved in the Marketing Association of Uzbekistan. To top it all off, he is a student athlete, although not a recruited athlete. He and his team became double Champions of Asia and Oceania, marking the debut for our national team in the World Cup in 2025. His journey with B&S Admissions started when he joined IVY Bridge 3 in August, then subsequently joined our Full Support, where he worked closely with Sukhrob Murodov and Bobirjon Bakhtiyorov, with the mentors’ relevant background in Economics and Political Science respectively being a perk while Khusan was reflecting on ideas and putting them on paper. At the end of the day, we are glad to be a part of his journey. He was accepted to both Vanderbilt and Duke University and will be heading to join the Duke Devils in August. Good Luck Khusan! Go do big things

Asilbek
Acceptance

Asilbek

Asilbek has been accepted to the UVA McIntire School of Commerce as a transfer student. His impressive academic achievements include completing eleven AP courses during high school and earning a spot on the Summa Cum Laude list with a Presidential Scholar Award at NOVA Community College. This fall, he will begin his studies in Finance at University of Virginia. Asilbek comes from an Uzbek immigrant background, and he spent his recent semesters building a flawless academic foundation at NOVA. Beyond his academic pursuits, Asilbek completed a solar energy outreach internship at GreenBrilliance and shadowed clinical operations at Westwood Dental. Committed to supporting others on their educational paths, he worked as an independent tutor, breaking down complex concepts in AP Chemistry, Physics, and Calculus for high school seniors and college freshmen. He also channeled his analytical skills into writing financial market blogs on Medium, conducting independent research on Wall Street culture and day trading dynamics. Yet, sole ECs are not enough to achieve what Asilbek did, and that is where B&S Academy stepped in. Bobirjon Bakhtiyorov worked closely with Asilbek to develop his essays and structure his entire application around his extracurricular profile and personal story. Asilbek's acceptance to both the University of Virginia and Virginia Tech is a clear demonstration of what happens when student's hard work meets the right guidance.

Shokhjakhon
Acceptance

Shokhjakhon

A month ago, we posted about Shokhjakhon's acceptance to Bates College with a full-ride scholarship, but we did not show the full picture yet. Shokhjakhon is a Full Support student at B&S Admissions and a senior at Goldstein High School in Brooklyn, New York. He holds a 1530 SAT, a near-perfect GPA, and has completed 11 AP classes. When we announced his Bates acceptance, we hadn't yet shared the rest of the story. Shokhjakhon also received full-ride scholarships from Washington University in St. Louis, Bowdoin, Vassar, Macalester, Middlebury, and Wesleyan. Seven full-ride scholarships across seven highly selective institutions. An extraordinary achievement by any measure, including among domestic applicants. Few days ago, Shokhjakhon committed to Washington University in St. Louis, where he will study Political Science starting this fall. Shokhjakhon on his admission journey: B&S Admissions changed my perspective on college applications. After working with Bobirjon personally for months I improved my application drastically. I realized that framing your application and presenting your best self is as important if not more than having the best ECs or STATS. We went through hundreds of Personal Statement drafts. What I loved about Bobirjon was he didn’t give me an hour limit to work and did not leave things to last second. He was very flexible and met with me whenever requested.

Mehriban

Muhammadali
Acceptance

Muhammadali

Muhammadali has been accepted to Colby College with a full-ride scholarship. He earned a 1580 SAT score, is just 16 years old, and plans to major in Computer Science. Muhammadali joined Ivy Bridge 4 in March which was the very first Ivy Bridge cohort of the cycle. Studying alongside peers like Dilafruz (Harvard ’30), he used the program to meaningfully shape his extracurricular profile, build a strong portfolio, and begin a research paper that contributed to both his intellectual growth and his application strategy. This marks B&S Admissions’ second consecutive Colby acceptance. Reflecting on the experience, Muhammadali shared: “Ivy Bridge was really transformative. I went in doubting its value and even had a meeting with Bobirjon before joining. But during the course, every class was interesting and gave me something. Sukhrob’s long list of books and Bobirjon’s strategy-building helped me a lot.”

Khayala
Acceptance

Khayala

NO SAT. NO IELTS. But a Well well-deserved acceptance to Brown University Originally from Azerbaijan, Khayala moved to Ukraine at the age of 2. Because of the political dilemmas in Ukraine, she moved to Germany to continue her high school education. Her story is not ordinary for one of two reasons. First, unlike many other applicants, she shined with her adversity rather than academics. She continuously performed well in her education regardless of the chaos that was going on in her life. Second, she put a lot of emphasis on her willingness to make change through her desired area of study. She combined political science with computer science in an unorthodox manner, showing her intent to make a change. I would like to end her story with a quote from Khayala herself: “I had almost given up, I thought there was no way I would get into any of my Dream Universities because of my test scores. However, Bobirjon taught me the main ingredient that was missing from my application that make it complete. It was to take a risk. To add texture to my application Bobirjon told me to approach it in a way that was very risky but rewarding. I think Bobirjon’s course was exceptional with his insights on the Admissions process. As someone who got into multiple top schools without the help of anyone, he certainly served as a pillar in helping me make my application firm.”

Sulaiman
Acceptance

Sulaiman

Attending Public School N3, Suleyman went above and beyond opportunities he had. While mentoring him, we were particularly impressed with his experiences. Despite the limitations of a village life, he chose to be “distinguished” and became the first FLEX Finalist of his region, seizing the opportunities the US had to offer! As a FLEX Finalist he attended a high school in North Carolina, and set a goal for himself to return there for his undergraduate studies. Upon returning to Kyrgyzstan, he took a gap year and reflected extensively on literature, producing more than 50,000 words of essays and crafting a well-structured College Application. Sulaiman is planning to major in CS with concentration on AI. During his application process we (Bobirjon & Sukhrob) worked intensively 1-1 with him. The last minute changes to his application were the biggest twist: 1-1 meetings with me on the New Year Eve were about transforming his essays, changing the topics of his Duke supplements and rewriting them through sleepless nights. B&S Admissions Team is proud of Suleyman and wish him luck in his pursuit of AI at Duke University! Go Blue Devil!

Arnur Sagynbek

I want to say thank you. Before I came here, I did not know how to study for the SAT. I felt lost. Now I have a good score and I am happy. The teachers helped me a lot. They were patient with me. I asked the same question many times, and they always helped me again. They never made me feel bad. Thank you for the classes, the practice tests, and the kind words when I wanted to stop. This place helped me, and I will not forget it. Thank you.

The first time I sat a full practice test, I scored 1280 and felt like the Reading section had eaten my whole afternoon. I kept running out of time, second guessing two answers, then changing both to the wrong ones. Our teacher showed me how to read the question before the passage and how to trust my first read instead of arguing with myself. We did mock tests almost every Saturday, and slowly the timer stopped scaring me. By my real exam I finished Reading with four minutes to spare, which felt impossible a few months earlier. My final score was SAT 1500. The teachers here never made me feel slow for asking the same thing twice. If you are stuck and tired of studying alone, this is the place I would send my own younger sister.

When I started, I studied at home in Tashkent. I sat at my desk every evening. I thought I was behind everyone else. My first practice test was bad, and I almost stopped. But then things changed. The classes were live. When I made a mistake, the teacher saw it and helped me right away. Slowly the test became easier for me. I started to like the practice tests. At the end, I was calm on the real test day. My score made me very happy. If you feel behind like I did, please do not stop. You can do it too.

This place is different because the teachers really care. They want you to understand, not just finish the homework. In other courses, you sit, you listen, and you learn nothing. Here it was not like that. Every lesson had a clear goal. The teacher explained things in an easy way. When I did not understand, my teacher tried again in a new way. The materials were clear and in good order. I always knew what I was learning and why. I came for a good score, and I got it. I also learned how to study better. I tell all my friends to come here.

I still cannot fully believe it. Math was never my problem, I usually finished early. The Reading and Writing side was where I lost everything, especially grammar. I never understood why a sentence needed a comma in one place and not in another. At B&S the rules finally were clear to me, mostly because the teachers explained them with real examples instead of simple theory. Transitions, subject verb agreement, punctuation, all of it became a simple checklist in my head. I went up almost 200 points in around two months of serious work.

Thank you for believing in me before I believed in myself. I was not the best student when I came here. But you never gave up on me. You gave me your time and a clear plan to follow. Every small step forward, you saw it and you were happy for me. That helped me keep going on the hard days. Now I have a score I am proud of, and I know I did not do it alone. I will remember this place when I start university. Thank you, from my heart. You changed my year.

I want to be honest, because it can help other people. First, I tried to study alone. I had free videos and books. I studied hard for many months, but I did not improve. I did not know why, and it made me sad. Then I joined the center. In two weeks, I understood my problem. I made the same mistakes again and again, and nobody saw them. My teacher looked at my work and found these mistakes. Then we fixed them one by one. Alone, I had nobody to help me when I was lazy. Here, my score started to grow fast. If you study alone and you do not improve, maybe you do not need more hours. Maybe you need help to see your mistakes. That was true for me.

For me, the practice tests were the most important thing. Other places talk about tricks. That is fine, but nothing helped me more than doing the full test again and again, until it felt normal. Each time, we looked at every mistake together. I learned something new each time. The practice test on the computer was just like the real one. So on the real day, there were no surprises for me. I knew the screen, the time, and the calculator. By the real test, it felt like another normal day at the center. This is the best thing I can say about this place.

I did not trust online classes at first. I thought I would not pay attention at home. I thought I would be lazy. But I was wrong. The classes were live and small. The teacher saw when I was quiet or confused. I shared my screen, so my teacher checked my work while I did it. And I did not lose time on the road, so I had more time to study. If you cannot come to a center, or you live far away, do not think online is worse. For me, online made it possible. And my score is good. So it really works.

Before I joined B&S I used to feel sick the night before any practice test. My parents had high hopes for me, and that pressure sat on my chest every time I picked up a pencil. I am the oldest child in my family, so a lot was riding on me. What helped was the routine. Every week I came to the center, did my mock test in the same room, sat in the same seat, and the fear got smaller each time. The teachers treated my nerves as something normal instead of something to fix. By the time the real day came in, walking into the test felt almost boring, in a good way

I grew up in a small town outside Tashkent, and nobody in my family had ever taken the IELTS or SAT or even heard much about it. When I told my father I wanted to apply to universities abroad, he was supportive but neither of us knew where to start. B&S became that starting point. The teachers explained everything from zero, including things I was embarrassed to ask, like what the test even measured. They never once made me feel behind for coming from a place where this exam was unknown. I worked hard, took every mock test seriously, and asked a thousand questions. The day I scored SAT 1530 I called my father from the center and he went quiet for a few seconds before I heard him smile. For any student from a small place who feels like these big opportunities are not meant for them, I promise you they are. You just need people who believe you can do it, and B&S did.

I just feel very thankful. One year ago, a high SAT score was only for other people, not for me. The teachers here told me I could do it too. And they were right. The teaching here is very good. My teacher used simple words for hard ideas. He never went too fast when I was confused. He knew the test very well. There were no boring lessons and no waste of time. Every lesson had a clear reason. In some classes, the time is slow and you learn nothing. Here it was the opposite. Time went fast because I was learning. Good teaching is not easy to find. I found it here, and you can see it in my score. Join. You will be happy you did.

There was one lesson on transitions that I think about often. Before that day I treated words like however, therefore, and moreover as if they were all interchangeable, and I lost easy points because of it. Our teachers spent a whole session just on how each transition shows a relationship between ideas, and something finally clicked. The Writing section stopped feeling like guessing. I started seeing the logic behind every question instead of hoping I picked right. We also drilled subject verb agreement and pronouns until they became automatic. By the real test, the grammar questions were the part I looked forward to. The Reading and Writing section was my strongest, which I never expected.

I remember my first day. I was very nervous. I did not know what to expect. I thought I would look stupid. But after the first lesson, my fear went away. The people here are warm. It is hard to explain until you feel it. They made a hard thing feel easy. They made a lonely thing feel shared. After some months, this was not just a study place for me. Before, I hated reading. Not just a little. A lot. I already decided to get a low score in that part and use my strong parts. But the teachers did not let me give up. They started me with short texts about things I liked. Then we went bigger, very slowly. After some time, reading was not a fight anymore. I do not love it now, but I do not hate it. And my results got better. The part I feared most became good. I learned something big from this. Sometimes you are not bad at something. You just never learned it the right way. They taught me, and the wall went away.

What I remember most is the Kahoot quizzes at the end of our sessions. I am competitive to a fault, and there was no way I was going to lose to my classmates on a vocabulary round. So I studied the lists at home not because I had to, but because I wanted to win the next game. Looking back, that is a clever trick. The center made studying feel like a small friendly competition instead of a chore. By the time I sat the real SAT, words and grammar rules I had laughed about during quizzes just appeared in my head automatically. I scored SAT 1500. If you learn better when there is a bit of pressure and fun mixed in, you will feel at B&S. I actually miss those evenings at the center.

Geometry used to be a difficult for me. Circles, triangles, all those formulas blended together and I would freeze on the questions where you type your own answer instead of choosing. B&S has a whole structured math system that goes topic by topic, and we did not move on until I could actually solve the problems. The teachers showed me how to use the built in Desmos calculator to check my work fast on the digital test, which saved me on at least three questions on the real day. The thing I respect most is that they never let me fake understanding. If I got the right answer for the wrong reason, they caught it and made me redo it properly. That honesty is exactly why my score is real and not luck. For anyone whose weak spot is math, I suggest B&S Academy
